Ownership of the finished song

We retain copyright in every personalised song we create. When you complete your purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use, play and share your delivered MP3 for personal, non-commercial purposes (for example: playing at a wedding, anniversary, birthday or family event, or sharing privately with friends and family).

What you may not do

• Use the song for commercial purposes, advertising or paid promotion.
• Re-sell, sub-licence or distribute the song or its lyrics commercially.
• Upload the song to streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) or monetised channels without our prior written permission.
• Claim authorship of the music or lyrics.

Material you submit

You confirm that any text, poems, lyrics, speeches, notes, photos or files you upload are either owned by you, created by you, or that you have permission to use them for this order. You grant us the limited right to use this material for the sole purpose of creating and delivering your song.

Inspiration, not imitation

You may share artists, songs or styles as inspiration, but we do not copy existing songs, lyrics, melodies or vocals, and we will not produce a song that imitates a specific artist's identity or voice.

Production tools

We may use a combination of human creative direction, digital tools and AI-assisted production software to help create your personalised song. Every order is guided by the details you provide and tailored to your brief.

Infringement claims

If you believe a song we have produced infringes your copyright, contact hello@bespokemelody.com with details of the original work, the alleged infringement and proof of your rights, and we will investigate promptly.
